One of our regular activities is to go out into the community and read. Sometimes we read to the elderly residents of nursing homes and sometimes we read to children in kindergarten and child care centres.
Along with reading, some of our children also sing and perform with a musical instrument like a piano or violin.
Our students feel very proud and priviliged to be chosen for these outings and spend considerable time practising reading their books beforehand so they can feel very confident and relaxed when it comes time to read to their audience.
