Joining the Victoria Plantation State School P&C, is a great way to keep informed, to contribute to the quality education of your children and to make new friends. Your contribution can be as large or as small as you can manage, but your ongoing support of the P&C is invaluable.
We endeavour to support the school, its students and its teachers by providing support and fundraising for additional items of equipment. The P&C also enhances the atmosphere of the school by providing social functions and events such as discos. The Victoria Plantation State School P&C operates Vic Kids Outside of School Hours Care program and with the help of its volunteers, the school Tuckshop.
In recent times the P&C has been able to purchase 2 new iPads for the children to use in the classroom, we have updated the Tuckshop facilities and have also been able to tick a few things off the teacher's wish lists. We provided roller blinds to assist the teachers in creating block out screening for AV time, shelving for storage and easels for the Prep classroom.
The P&C meets once a month, on the third Tuesday of the month, at 7pm to discuss general operating business and fundraising ideas. Everyone is welcome to attend.
